 The
XLW Connection provides 100% pipe body strength in tension, compression,
bending, internal yield pressure and col- lapse pressure. It is
internal flush utilizing wedge threads technology and dovetail thread
flanks, which effectively locks the connection together. The box
connection is machined on a forging that is welded to the pipe body
and the pin is threaded directly on the pipe. The XLW incorporates
an elevator shoulder and a radial interface metal seal.
